The "Never Going Back" Planning Process

I don’t know about you, but I was doing an awful lot of “clinging” in the early days of this pandemic. Holding on to the hope that we would be back to normal quickly and without much trouble. Unfortunately those hopes have slowly faded over the past 6 weeks. But I’m realizing that in many instances, I might be better off not going back to the way I was doing things.

I’ve been talking to owners, CEOs, and leaders from local small businesses and publicly traded companies over the past 2 weeks and one theme is recurring: there will never be a better time to reinvent and innovate.

This week I’m leaning in on three things I believe will help all of us to accept that there are many things in our lives that will be better off reimagined and reinvented rather than restored.

I hope it brings you some perspective and encouragement.
